Barry Maitland is one of the most popular crime fiction writers in Australia. Barry was born in Scotland, studied architecture at Cambridge University and went on to work as an architect and urban design expert. In 1984 he moved to Australia to head the architecture school at the University of Newcastle in New South Wales.
Barry became a fulltime writer in the 90’s and is the author of the acclaimed Brock and Kolla series of crime mystery novels set in London, as well as the Australian mystery thriller BRIGHT AIR and the new BELLTREE Trilogy. With an impressive sixteen books to his name Barry’s latest book is THE RUSIAN WIFE.
